Today was a good day! My mom went to the hospital and left me at my aunts house to watch my cuz and help her out in any way she needed me! I slept most of the day! It has been kinda hard to sleep around here. I took my cuz into San Antonio to see my grandma about 6:30 today and we had some time to talk. I will probly go in to town early in the morning to see my grandma one more time before I leave. I am going to Houston on Sat to my great aunts funeral and then comming back to my aunts house in the same day. I plan on returning home on Sunday. I am not sure what time because we are going to Oak Hills on Sunday morning! I will miss all my fellow Highland people but you can't always get what you want! I hope everyone has a great day! Well I am not going to get to go home a soon as I thought! I just found out that my fav. great aunt died today! It is a sad day and I may be going to Houston this weekend! It kinda stinks but I may get to see a dear friend of ours! I hope everyone is have a great week!

MEXICO
Sunday June 19th
We left church on Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m. We stopped in Junction to eat lunch. About 15 min before we got to Uvalde out charter bus had a blow out. It sounded like someone opened a side emergency window at first. The we figured out it was the tire and everyone in the back started yelling tire but the adults in the front of the bust thought we were yelling fire. They quickly realized what was going on and Sarah told the bus driver and we stopped. We spent a good bit of time sitting there while the driver changed the flat. Then we headed on the Mexico. When we got to the boarded we had to go through a different gate then our vans did. We had no paper work and we were headed to a different gate. The driver got on the intercom and told us all to say a lil pray. Then we crossed the boarder with no problems. When we got across no one knew where we were supposed to be going. We had to call the hotel and get someone to come direct us to the hotel. It took us awhile because we had to go around a ton of tight conners. Our Driver was AWESOME! The devo that night was AWESOME! I loved it! You could tell God had us all there for a reason. I was getting along great with my room mates. It is funny how we are all so alike. God is really working on us.
Monday June 20th
Today was awesome. We got up at 6 and went down to eat breakfast. I didn't really care for it. It was bread and papaya. Then we headed off to the work site. The work site is in the sun with no shade but there was a nice breeze. I didn't work there though. I went to Hectors house and it was pretty shady and we tried to stay in the shade most of the time. I cut rebar the whole time. We took an hour for lunch. It was awesome! The food was great as always! Then after lunch I went back to Hectors house and worked some more then we had ice cream and headed back to the hotel. I took a shower when we got to the hotel while everyone else swam. It was neat. Then we ate at this AWESOME restaurant where we had a thing kinda like a hot pocket but so much better! The devo was another AWESOME devo! I started to cry but I held back. God is really working on me. After the devo we went back to our room and started to get ready for bed. I am getting along great with my room mates and we are really bonding.
Tuesday June 21st
Today we got up at the same time and had breakfast down stairs. It was better food today because they went and bought breakfast foods. Then we went to work and I cut more rebar. It was really fun. Then we joined back up with everyone and had lunch. It was really good. After lunch we thought we were going back to the other site but we ended up not going and I shoveled some dirt and straightened some wire things to tire rebar with. Then we had ice cream and headed back to the hotel and I took a shower. I got extremely dirty today. Then we went to supper. It was pizza night. It was soooo good. After we ate we had a pnyata to celebrate all the birthdays. Then I went to the lobby to check my e-mail but I couldn't figure out the @ symbol. I finally figured it out. Ctrl+Alt+2 Spanish key boards are so weird. After that we went to the devo. I love our devos they are so awesome! After the devo I went up to my room and went to bed.
Wednesday June 22nd
Today was another early day. We went to bed earlier so it was better. We had a good breakfast and headed off to work. I worked on some rebar ting then tied some in a ditch that was barely big enough for one person and I needed about 5 but it worked out. Then I went and cut some more rebar. It was so much fun. Then lunch left and we though that James had forgot us! LOL About 5 min later he pulled up to get us. Then we went to lunch and durning lunch Dan Allen got hit in the head with a water bottle and had to have stitches. After lunch we started laying bricks. It was so kewl. I love to see the before and after pictures because you start with something and finish with something totally different. Then we ate at pollo loco. It was good. Then we went to the store. It was kewl. It was an OXXO. They had some awesome candy. Then we went to the devo. I love our devos. They are so uplifting. Then I came to the room and went to bed.
Thursday June 23rd
Today was our last work day. I didn't really do much today. I started out laying bricks but then I took a break because I got a head ace. Then I was joined by a bunch of people. There wasn't enough work to do. I fell asleep on the ground and no one woke me up when a load of bricks came. Then it was lunch time. Lunch was sooo good. After lunch I started laying bricks again and didn't stop until we were done. Then we had ice cream and headed back to the hotel. I took a shower and then a nap. Then we went to Sams and had Hamburgers. They were sooo good. I sat with James and Peggy. They are such and awesome influence in my life. They are simply amazing people. Then we went to church with the people we were building the school/church for. It was awesome even though only a handful of us spoke Spanish. Then we went back to the hotel and had a short devo. It was really neat! Then I went to the lobby to try to talk to my bestest friend but she wasn't on so then I went and talked to several other people then I went to my room and talked to my room mates. We finally went to bed.
Friday June 24th
I got to sleep in some today. It was good. Then we went down stairs and had breakfast. It was good. Then we went to the market place. It was Awesome! Just like I remembered it. I bought me a cowboy hat and a key chain with my name on it. Then we came back to the hotel and ordered a pizza. We had Kevin go up to our room with us so the guys could come up there and eat with us. After we ate everyone in the room went to Sams. I didn't want to go so I went swimming instead. After I swam for a few I went back up to my room and got dressed and went to the OXXO. I got me a coke and some Candy to take home with me. Then when we got back I took a nap because I wasn't feeling well. Then I got up and we went to dinner. The food was ok but nothing compared to the Lunches we had been having. After dinner we came back to the hotel and got ready for the devo. The devo was so AWESOME! I love the last devo! It is always so uplifting! During our devo the guy who we had been working for Joshua walked in. He didn't want to stay but the adults wanted him to and he became a part of our devo that last night. Then after the devo I went to my room. My roommates and I had so much fun! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. We really boned this week. It was so AWESOME!
Saturday June 25th
Today we got up kinda early and packed for the trip home. We took our bags to the bus and then went to the OXXO because Hillary wanted this candy bar because it had a kewl rapper. Then when we got back we ate breakfast and then we loaded the bus and left. When we got to the boarder we had to unload all of our luggage and carry it across the boarder. They checked every single bag. Then we reloaded our stuff and headed to Uvalde to eat. When we got like 20 min outside of eagle Pass we had another blow out. We sat on the buss until roadside service got there. I called my mom to let her know that we wouldn't be home on time and she didn't believe that we had another blow out. I had to get the person sitting next to me to tell her! LOL Then after the tire is fixed we drove on to Uvalde to eat lunch. Then we got back on the bus and headed home. The bus was really hot and miserable but we survied. We made one more stop in Junction to go to the restroom and then continued home with no problems. I hated to see the week end. It was such an awesome week!

I am going to Mexico tommrow and the sad thing is for some reason I am not that excited about it! I am a lil worried. It is a weird feeling! I have never felt this way about Mexico. I guess there is a reason for it but I am not sure what. I guess I will find out on the trip! I am hopeing and praying that this will be an uplifting experance! I kinda need my spirts lifted. I am still having a hard time but I am better this week! I think this feeling may be commnig from the fact that I don't know any of my roommates and that is a lil weird but IDK! N E ways I hope you have a great week and I will keep a journal while I am gone and try to post it when I get back! TTYL LYL GOD BLESS

I hate change! It is so hard! I have had an extremely hard year! I keep telling myself that I am ok when in reality I know I am not ok and I am just putting on a face and going through life one day at a time. I am not sure when things will get better but right now I am in what I guess you would call a rut. I am having trouble getting used to the idea of the two families I love leaving. It is really hard on me. I miss them so much! I know that this will get better soon. But right now I am having a hard time! Have a nice night!

I am having the hardest time sleeping! I have so much stuff on my mind! I am having a hard time with my two fav families moving off! I have a really hard time at night and I stay up late and then the next day I am not in a good mood! I have a lot of things that I think about late at night! My friends is one! I am having problems with two of them! I think that they are mad at me but they won't talk to me! It is making me really upset! I didn't mean to hurt their feelings but I did. They said everything was ok but I know that it isn't. I wish they would talk to me but o well their loss right?!?!?!?!?!? Then I am thinking about College and where to go! I have looked at some schools and ACU was my #1 choice but it is not cheap! I have started looking at other schools I would like to go to but the ones I like are far away from home. I am not sure if I want to go that far. It is kinda weird. I feel really over whelmed at the moment! I know that God is always there for me and that he won't give me more than I can handle but why all this right now?? It is hard to get through life sometimes and right now I am having a really hard time! If you have any advice let me know! I hope everyone has a great week! TTYL LYL GOD BLESS!

WOW Tonight was weird! I am so ticked off! I have learned alot about friendships tonight! I have learned who my true friends are and who the people are who are just nice to me! Sometimes it takes a big fight for you to realize what you have! I have maybe 3 true friends! It is pretty awesome to watch your friends mom back you and your friend up because she doesn't want you to lose your friendship! What a weird night!
